The presentation will highlight the uses and benefits of implementing Remote Patient Monitoring and learn how to off-set Remote Patient Monitoring  expenses with additional Medicare reimbursement.

Bonnie Britton is the executive director of Reconnect4Health, a platform for remote monitoring, care management and video visits. Bonnie is recognized as a Telehealth pioneer and expert. She has dedicated the past 19 years of her career as a nurse, advancing the adoption and implementation of Telehealth both nationally and internationally.

How Hospitals and EMS are Reducing Costs and Improving Access via Telehealth

Hospitals and EMS providers are utilizing telemedicine to help patients avoid high-cost facilities when not deemed medically necessary, reducing costs while providing easier access to healthcare. We’ll share key findings from two North Carolina organizations who have seen success with virtual health.

Dr. Bobby Park is co-founder and director of virtual health at RelyMD. Dr. Park also services as a board-certified emergency medicine physician and has been practicing at WakeMed Health and Hospitals since 2003. RelyMD is a telemedicine provider based out of Cary, North Carolina. RelyMD was founded by Wake Emergency Physicians, PA (WEPPA) and has been serving the patients of North Carolina with 24/7 access to emergency medicine physicians since 2015. Our mission is to improve people’s lives by simplifying the way they see a doctor.


Improving Pre and Post-Natal Care through Telehealth, a Swedish Case Study

The presentation will focus on a pre and post-natal care use case for telehealth developed in Sweden.
